Vinylpladen is the result of hard and focused work since autumn 2010. The online store started in spring 2011 with the ambition to be the Danes' favourite online store for vinyl - new as well as second-hand - and everything that goes with it; sleeves, vinyl care, vinyl displays, turntable accessories and much much more.

We accept the following payment methods: Dankort, Visa, Visa Dankort, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Mastercard debit, MobilePay, ViaBill and possibly more (ask us).

We pay all card fees and standard transaction costs for your order.

For online payments, the order amount is reserved on your account and only withdrawn upon dispatch/pickup. Some payment methods may present challenges if the amount is not withdrawn within 30 days. Therefore, we reserve the right to accept prepayments and withdraw the order amount at the earliest 20 days after the order, even if not all goods have been shipped/picked up (which may happen in case of backorders or pre-orders). If you make use of this option, it does not affect the right to return or any other customer conditions.

Regular LPs, new and second-hand, are shipped with a good quality inner and outer sleeves. If there is more than one vinyl record pr. album, we will of course send a corresponding number of inner sleeves so that you don't miss out.

Alle brugte plader renses grundigt med professionelt udstyr. Vi bruger en særlig mikstur af skånsom, men effektiv, rensevæske, der passer perfekt til ældre plader. Dine dine brugtplader skal være fuldstændig uden snavs, mug eller andet, når du modtager dem.

If a record isn't shrink wrapped, we'll send the record out of the cover to avoid seam-split during shipment; that is, the problem where the sides of the cover are damaged due to a record not lying still when the carrier moves the packages. We pack safely and tightly, so you'll receive intact records.

Please note that the images shown under a single product are not images of the actual product, and therefore do not represent the actual condition of the cover, among other things.

We cannot always guarantee delivery. Especially in case of order items, pre-orders and ''Record Store Day'' releases, limited quantities may mean that we have to cancel a customer's order in whole or in part. If a vinyl record stock is limited, we reserve the right to downgrade a customer's order to 1 unit per customer.

You get free shipping when you buy at least 5 items. For 4 items or less, shipping rates are still reasonable.

You choose if you want delivery by courier or parcel service. If you live on an island with no bridge connection, we recommend that you either choose a specific parcel shop or order with home delivery to avoid the risk of having to pick up your parcel across the water.

You will receive a Track&Trace number as soon as we have packed your order.

Please note that order items may be backordered, thus extending the delivery time.

For deliveries outside the EU, we reserve the right to charge additional shipping costs before dispatching an order if the automatically calculated shipping price does not cover the actual shipping costs. However, this is not the practice for orders within Denmark and the rest of the EU.

At Vinylpladen you have an extended right to return on 100 days from receiving your order. The conditions for returns apply within the EU + Norway.

It is possible to return parts of an order, for which we will only refund the value of the returned item.

Returnering af varer kan foregå ved indlevering i butikken i Aarhus, eller ved forsendelse til butikken med erhvervsomdeling for købers regning. Vi tager ikke imod forsendelser tilsendt en pakkeshop. Varerne skal være i samme stand som ved modtagelsen uden tegn på brug, og evt. emballage skal være ubrudt.

If, in the case of a partial return, an order no longer qualifies for free shipping, a shipping fee will be deducted from the refundable amount.

We exchange all Christmas gifts until February 1st. This serves as an extended return policy if the 100-day exchange period is not sufficient.

Should you take delivery of goods that have incurred damage in transit, we must be notified of your claim no later than three business days from receipt, with the inclusion of photos documenting the damage to the items as well as to their shipping containers. Adhering to these stipulations allows us to pursue reimbursement from the carriers responsible for the shipment.

If the problem is visible on the product, e.g. a damaged album cover or scratch in a new vinyl record, the customer must document the problem with a photo of the defect visible on the product. If an album cover is defective and this defect is visible through the plastic seal, we can only guarantee a free-of-charge claim as long as the seal is intact.

If the problem is related to the playback of a vinyl record and the defect cannot be seen but only heard, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the problem is not caused by the customer's turntable setup. The majority of enquiries regarding sound problems or problematic playback stem from challenges with the customer's own setup. Vinyl records are all slightly different and new pressings in particular can behave inappropriately on an incorrectly set up turntable, a worn stylus/pickup or the likes. We recommend that the customer first ensures that their turntable is set up correctly and that there are no worn parts. The record can be tested on another setup as an assurance that the defect exists. If the defect doesn't occur on Vinylpladen's setup, we reserve the right to treat the case as a return and not a claim, with the return shipping being at the buyer's expense.

Vinyl records are a made of a very flexible material and they can be slightly warped for various reasons. The distortion cannot be heard during playback unless the distortion is extreme. We consider that a lift of less than 2mm of a record's edge, when lying on a flat horizontal surface, cannot be considered a defect under normal circumstances, but rather as a natural part of the medium today. If sound distortion can still be detected, the above conditions apply, where the problem must be able to be recreated on Vinylpladen's setup.

We mainly operate in the EU + Norway. Therefore, for shipments out of the EU/EEA, the warranty covers only obvious and audible defects and not cosmetic defects and deviations from the original product. product specifications. Any additional costs for shipments outside the EU or Norway in the form of duties or taxes, will be charged to the customer.

Discrepancies between image and the delivered product may occur in rare cases. No claims can be made for misleading images if the title is accurate.
To a reasonable extent, this also applies to the other product information, including track list, release date, weight, colour, etc., where we do our best to be as accurate as possible, but make reservations for any discrepancies. At times a record company may make changes to a product, such as changing the vinyl colour and the like, without changing the barcode or informing the stores, and we reserve the right to any misinformation this may cause. If there is a particular detail that is of vital importance to you, we can be contacted to guarantee the accuracy of the information.

It is the customer's responsibility to have read and understood the product information provided, including the graduation of second-hand vinyl records. No complaints can be made about conditions, such as graduation of condition etc., which Vinylpladen has indicated but which the customer was unaware of or didn't fully understand at the time of purchase. The right to return applies as always.

With some vinyl releases, instructions are included to download a digital copy, where we also disclose that this option is included. We cannot vouch for the functioning or sudden discontinuation of this additional service, as it is a service provided by the manufacturer/record company. It is very common for a vinyl release to suddenly, and without notice, have the download option removed. We regularly check the information for the releases, but should you unexpectedly receive a product without included (and working) download instructions, we will compensate you with a XX€ credit per piece of incorrect information. If the download option is critical to your purchase, please contact us before purchase.
